More often than you think, Paul. In my experience, it seem that once an english person know that you can talk in english, they will stop talking in french, even if you continue talking in french.
What I have observed over the years, is that if there are 10 peoples in a metting, 9 french and 1 english, the meeting have 95% chances of being held in english.
I don't mind bilingual conversation were one person talk in french and the other in english, but, question of respect, if both party are bilingual, the english person should talk in french and the french person should talk in english.
>This rarely happens in Montreal.
