Yes, I'd say so...either simultaneous hits or total number of hits can cause trouble, but the problem is not vfp at that point.

Of course there are other issues, like users doing heavyweight processing on tables, that can cause trouble - that's been a problem I've had several times. The users doing the processing were okay, but other users couldn't get in, and in fact one time we brought all the servers on the hub down, just for fun :) LAN was not happy...but again, that's not vfp, I've had that happen with C programs processing large flat files, too...
