Well, I couldn't get it to affect the instantiation persistence of my COM object at all. the default duration persistence seems to be about 9-10 minutes. I set it to 3 minutes and the COm server unloaded in 9-10 minutes anyway. I then set it to 30 minutes and the COM server unloaded in 9-10 minutes. I does not seem to affect this at all. So I'm not sure what it does affect.

>I understand it more like a hint for the cache manager. I think is very difficult to test it. If IIS has enough cache and it doesn't need to discard your objects...
