Kevin,

>Actually, a maintenanceform grid that has its lSetHighlightBar = .T. *is* a great place to use incremental searching. The documentation on how to implement the new grid classes is found in the Developer's Guide topic "Grid TextBox Controls". You can use these wherever you want to implement incremental search in Grids.

I agree that a maintenance form is a great place to implement incremental searching, but the documentation only describes the various controls, not how to implement them.

>As an aside, CBizObjMaintenanceForm does work well with parameterized views. As mentioned in the Developer's Guide topic "Creating Forms from CBizObjMaintenanceForm", you can add a control to page 1 of the form that limits the number of records displayed...and you *should* do this if you're returning more than several hundred records from the back end.

I was under the impression that the nolistmaintform would be the best class to use in this situation, but I'll check it out.

Thanks,

Jim
