Very well thought out. Thanks for the post.

The most likely scenario that I agree with is the move toward pay support. However, I don't think it is the big corporations they are after. The big corps already pay for support from Microsoft. I think MS is after the little guy. The guy that previously wasn't willing to ante up the $95 for the support call. This also fits in with kingdom building. Remember Mr. Lindstrom's title "Director of Business Development". That means he is to find ways to make money.

The legal issues with respect to the AOL lawsuit or supposedly a disgruntled MVP doesn't make alot of sense to me. Microsoft has never been one to back down to legal issues.
