Really, are exit confirmations out?, I personnally hate it, I hadn't implemented it, but since I kept on seeing it I thought I should put in my apps, so I did. Maybe I can make it optional too...wait I'm going to end up with an options dialog more bloated than ICQ's :).

Audit trail sounds like another good option, well, used as a completment. The whole setup sounds robust and flexible at the same time.
