Date separation characters (forward slashes) appear in this column when the column becomes active. The separation characters are not present unless the column is active. I'm using VFP 5.0 Professional.

Is there anything in the Format or Inputmask properties of the textbox in that grid? Does the texbox's ControlSource match the Column's?
