>At our last foxpro user's groupe meeting the presenter was someone from the MSDN section at Microsoft. He said that IMDB was not going to be a part of the first release of Windows 2000. He could'nt say when it would be available ...

The official word from MS is that people didn't like it. IMDB required a different access model than going to the data directly, which mean additional coding.

Unofficially, from what I've been able to pick up, IMDB sucked big time.

MS current plans are to reeingineer IMDB and possibly release it as a separate product.
