Are you using the built in parent/child relationships in the grid? A View? A filtered set? When you have many records and are using the grid master/child layout or a filter the scrollbar position shows for the ENTIRE table, not just the records fitting the parent/child relationship.

If you use a parameterized view (See the FAQs and many past threads) this won't be a problem.
