Hi Ed,
You're 100 percent correct! PUTM would be cheap at twice the price. I saved in time way more than PUTM membership cost me the first day, by using the search feature. Not to mention the alledged discounts form the vendors( never got one from VPM or Hentzenwerke and VPM ask where I heard about them.) Although today, I've seen roadkill move faster than the current connection speed!!!
>>Ouch, can't say I didn't see that one coming though :-)

>Well, It's begging season on the local public radio station, WSHU, and I made my annual contribution - which is more than I was paying as a PUTM!

>UT is an important resource for all of us, and PUTM is one way of showing our appreciation for it and ensuring that it continues to thrive. I was a PUTM before I got my 'blue envelope', and I intend to continue to pay my PUTM fee when it comes due in February, even though UT graciously does not charge MVPs for PUTM services, because it's one way to get Michel to upgrade the damned phone lines between UT and the world! < g >

>>>It's been slow all day; no idea why. Maybe if a few more people paid to become PUTM, Michel could afford some better server hardware or a faster link to the net.
