Found the problem!

Using either the view designer of eview, the update criteria for the Master fields showed as "unchecked". Using gendbc to write to a .prg, the updatable was set to .T. I had lots of problems rebuilding the views. Eventually, I removed the view, close data all, use tap.dbc excl, pack use, rebuilt the view using the view designer and everything was OK!

Any idea about the cause?
