I just finished installing VFP6.0 SR3 onto my notebook PC. I had a number of problems getting this installed and had to do it piece by piece. (I was getting an error message "ACMSETUP caused an invalid page fault in module MSSETUP.DLL at 0177:10013f12". So I ran the setup several times each time adding an additional component. Once that was done I installed SR3 with no problem.

Now I have copied a system that I have been working on from our file server to my notebook. When developing it I was using a desktop machine and had no problems. Now when I try to modify a project I cannot open it I get an error "There is not enough memory to complete this operation." I also get this error just by doing cd ?.

I have a Pentium 266 with 64MB RAM and 1GB free on a 3GB hard drive. The system resource meter indicates System:86% User:90% GDI:86%.
I am reunning Windows 98 and have Window manage my virtual memory settings.

I have tried searching M$ but have not been able to determine anything. I also downloaded the latest drivers for the video card (NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD) from the notebook manufacturer (Quantex).

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I am suppored to install this apllication nextweek and need to be able to make any last minute changes from my notebook.

Thanks
Mark Johns
