Where does the SQL Statement Actually execute?

I make sure System_A is not running any VFP serivces.
I share a folder on System_A
I set up an ODBC connection on System_B pointing to a VFP dtabase container on System_A's folder.
I use the SQLConnect Command on System_B to connect to the data source.
I use the SQLExec command to pass a SQL Select to System_A.
Finally I do get results as expected.

Now which system did the data processing of the SQL statement. System_A (the data store) or System_B (the data requestor). Remember this is a VFP database and no VFP Service is running.
