We will be working on a hospital system (1000 bed capacity). And we are expecting large set of data specifically on requisitions and patient ledgers. We are still in the design stage and so we must have the right approach to start with the development. It seems to me that ADO is native to VB and is best suite into it while RV is native to VFP (syntax wise). In that case, since COM is the way to go with C/S, VB seems come into play stronger than VFP when it comes to middle-tier COM. XML seems a familiar term to me only but I haven't found a book thoroughly discussing it.
