i posted this message late last nite and am not sure it was clear enough, here it goes again. i have a form using dataenvironment and textbtns ie add,edit,save,revert,top etc, to manipulate data. if user clicks on add or edit and is in the middle of making changes or adding and the user enters invalid data, i want to be able to stop the add or edit process right there and then, ie send message invalid data then revert data back to the way it was and put focus back on the fully enablbed textbtns, not the save and revert btns that normally would be enabled while editing.
