yep - you have a program registered as an OLE Server for type .BMP, but not one for type .WMF, so the General field has no clue how to deal with the .WMF file. General fields require that something be setup in the registry to handle the file extension, and it must have at least an Open action associated with it.

I don't know anything about ChartFX, but what about having it create GIF or JPEG files?
