Rudy makes sense. To add, as far as sheer number, 15 isn't much...However, I have noticed a slight slowdown with some things like optimized LOCATE or SQL with 30 or more tags - it may take a moment to check through them all, that makes sense.
Try putting 100 tags on your table, including some complex ones - I'll bet you'll see a little performance hit now and then :)
