It is no better in the states. I've been to several TechNet quarterly briefings and there isn't any mention of FoxPro at all anymore. And I just went to a presentation by a MSCE/MCP/MCT/ETC/ETC. on Access 2000 and ADO. I couldn't believe all the hoops he was going through What a mess! and he still couldn't demonstrate a working application.
Still it is scary that many of the on-line job boards have jobs for "Perl programmers" but they no longer list many (or even any) FoxPro jobs.
Maybe the best we can hope for is that FoxPro will be released as open source, like Netscape. Then it could be re-ported to Linux. --- L
