Hi Benn !

Thanks for your answer but I think the issue resides also with the fonts. In essence what you are saying is that you have to design almost as much label form versions as there are type of printers ?

I have tested with the customer data and printed the same item as the customer. My printout on my equipment is perfect. All rows start at exactly the same line on each labels.

The customer fonts are different to mine in height and amplitude. So the customer output takes a little more room to print so it pushes the middle label by a few mm and the 3rd row by a little more.

The font I use and that appear in the label file (lbx) are: Courier B 10, Courier R 10, Arial B 10, Arial BI 10. I would say they should be identical from system to system ... but that is not what I'm seeing on the report samples from my customers. From the 3 batches of samples I have (i.e: mine and 2 other customers) none are identical. Everyone seems to have a different version of the font(s).

I am still wondering (pondering) which way to go in order to solve this issue !

TIA

Pierre Richard
