Hi Pierre,

Your problem is, that the way different printers grabs the paper. Some printers need a larger top margin than others.

I had the same problem some years ago between a Canon LBP 4 and a HP IV printer. You have to test your report on the customers printer.

>Hi !
>I have created in VFP5 a label form using Avery label 5164 which is a 4" x 3 1/3" label - 2 labels wide - in 3 rows (total 6 labels / sheet).

>I tested with a HP LaserJet Serie II and everything is OK. All alignments vertically or horizontally are OK and all spacing in both directions are OK. The printing on every label starts at the correct place.

>But when I distributed to my customers (which are using a variety of laser printers in the HP family and also Lexmark) they do not print properly. They also use a variety of platforms i.e win95, win 98, NT with different locale (i.e.: english vs french).

>I don't know what causes these behaviour, but I suspect the fonts beeing used by the different customer may affect the output for the label.

>Any ideas ?
