It is important to note that you can perform OOP with VB. Even without inheritance, most folks agree that most OO concepts can be applied to VB.
However, how can you reconcile the fact that inheritance is the most requested feature, and the possibility of losing VB customers.
Many VB'ers did not like all of the data-centric features that were added to VB 6. Yet, most did not jump ship.
Therefore, I disagree with both your analysis and the conclusions you have derived from that analysis...
