I'm running SQL Sever 6.5 and VFP 5.0 with no special equipment. The SQL is on a 400mhz PII with 64 MB RAM and the VFP on a dual 133mhz Pentium. Granted, my load is pretty light, but I've had no problems running multiple simultaneous remote views over ODBC in VFP. I can't vouch for high-traffic use, but I'm very pleased with my performance.
