You are mistaken here. This thread started with Walter proposing a new capability in VFP that allowed SQL statements to be actually accomplished by VFP as xBase stuff under the hood. No one has changed the subject on this thread at all. I think perhaps you are recalling a different thread that is still going on about performance between SQL select commands and xBase syntax.
