Jim,

6. If you are talking to an MVP, remember they received the award for answering people's technical questions accurately and it is not a lifetime award. If an MVP is screwing up they very well may not continue to be an MVP.
7. If you are talking to an MVP, remember that they received the MVP as an acknowledgement of what they have done already (in the past). They have no special responsibility to you or to anyone else.

So, how should this affect our postings ? I'm not quite sure what you're trying to say here. To me a MVP is like you said someone who is awarded for his contribution to the VFP community. Personally I don't directly link a MVP to a high expert on any field (there also MVP from who I don't know what their expert field is). There are also others wich have much knowledge on a certain field. So I don't think anything like 'well, the other is rewarded as a MVP so he must be right').

OTOH, I think that a MVP is a representative of the VFP community as a whole, so you might expect some more behaviour skills from them than any other. If I may make a compliment, You tend to fit in this rule very nice.
