I transferred an application that I wrote from one system to another. The original was installed using the CREATE DISKS routines and has been used quite a bit since the original installation.
Of course, just copying the directory does NOT make the program execuatbale on the new system. How can I get the appropriate files installed on the new one (without losing the data) to run the application. I assume items are missing from the Windows directory, etc that were placed on the original machine via the CREATED disks.
The only way I can think to do it is to build a new set of disks, install them on the new machine THEN copy the app back from the old machine overwriting the newly installed code (except for the changes/additions in the other directories).
Thanks
