I think (IMHO) it's asking for trouble.
You could get ascii RTF data or .RTF .DOC file to display in RTF control and save it to a file or general field. So far so good. As far as only native VFP reporter is used it makes me sense to print as far as it makes sense to print a word doc on a report. I tried to do none of them.
Instead I would use OLEAutomation to word like mailmerging and do entire printing from there. Or if not word is installed make one RTF file for report including other data and use RTFControls selprint. Using selprint has code posted here originally by Christof Lange.
