Solved: The problem was 1 of 2 things. Everything works fine once I set dcomcnfg to use another user to run the Com object in place of IUSR_??? I also gave IUSR_ specific execute rights to the object rather than relying on the Default settings.

Other: Unregistering a com with: myexe.exe /unregserver did break the link form the object to the exe, but it left the object in registry.

Thanks for each of you for the assistance. Happy Hollidays!
Doug

>I am ready to put out what little hair I have left. I have been trying to learn to use FoxIsAPI by working with the FoxWeb example. I had FoxWeb working for a while but I could not duplicate the sucess to other projects. Now I cleaned up my registry and tried again fresh with the FoxWeb example and have suceeded in getting the same error as my other projects.

I have tested each project from the command window and verified that each works. FoxISAPI return an error message to the browser "CoCreateInstance failed with err code 80080005: Server execution failed" but it does not complain about not finding the object.
