>Garrett, if you think I am dick, go ahead and say so...

Mostly because I asked on the MVP group that people not mention to the general public that I was a contractor for MS, but you didn't feel any need to respect that -- but I'm willing to let that go. I hate hanging on to anger, it just makes me worse.

>You work for the borg now... You can afford to.....< bg >.

If anyone out there feels I'm taking that attitude, please trout me. :-)

Exactly. Why did he stop? Why are only the most active community members writing? Why can I count the VFP6 books on both hands?

>No, my comments are directed at the current crop of folks. That said, why would
>you make a statement that you are not sure why you feel a certain way????

I'm not sure. :-)

>Uh... I think you are mis-interpreting something here... Non-MVP's make
>valuable contributions as well..

Of course, I never meant to imply they didn't. However, as you pointed out, most of the current crop of books are written by people firmly entrenched in the Fox community. Is this the best thing for us?

>However, since you asked.... when it comes to MSDN whitepapers, they tend to be
>written by MVP's, or employees of MS... True..????

As far as I know off the top of my head, true, but I'm not sure that's the best example.

>I know you are hinting at something here... but are not willing to come right
>out and say it.....

I think you're reading too much into it: it's a general concern over the lack of VFP6 books, and the difficulty of obtaining the existing ones (yours excepted) in the major chain bookstores.
