I tried what you said and it worked as far as making the form class into an independent form. I can modi form and bring it up with no problem. there is a problem, tho, when I make changes and attempt to save the form. The hourglass goes on forever and it locks up foxpro. I have done an end task (ctrl-alt-del) and have found a .tmp file that is over 107MB. Any ideas as to why it won't save properly?

OK, while I was typing this I was letting it attempt to save on the other machine. It finally gave up and put up a messagebox with 'Internal consistency error'. Maybe that will help you slightly?
