It would be helpful to know something about how you have the grid set up, and what is going on when the flicker is noticed. Also, the version VFP (w/ service packs, etc).

What is the recordsource and recordsourcetype?
How are the columns bound to the data?
What kinds of controls do you use the columns? The default textbox or have you added specialized ones?
Are you doing anything with they dynamic colors?
What code is getting processed?
