A bloke named John O'Grady (aka Nino Collotta) published a beaut book called Aussie English with a bucket-load of apparantly standard english words and phrases and their fair dinkum meanings.

One of my favourites is Open Slather

"Aw, don't tell me there's no gambling in Broken Hill. I've been there mate -- it's open slather."

Another I particularly like is to give someone the oil or give them the drum. This means to give them the facts. If you're actually telling them the truth then you're giving them the good oil.

Merry New Year to all (with appologies to Eddie Murphy)

Cheers,

Andrew

If we were to introduce Visual FoxBase+, would we be able to work from the dotNet Prompt?
