BTW, for the sake of avoiding confusion, what you are referring to is a short cut not a hot key. Hot keys are the underlined character in the menu prompt and are single key activated when the menu is active. (contrary to popular belief the Edit pad's hot key is E not Alt-E, The Alt key activates the menu and the E key selects teh Edit pad). When the menu is active there is no need to press the Alt key to use hot keys.
