Have you included a config.fpw file in your .EXE, and have you checked its contents?
Actually, I would think a view parameter would be amongst the least likely places for the problem to lie.
Thinking about it a bit more, one likely candidate is that you might not have included all files required by your app in your .EXE. Closely check your project for excluded files.
