I don't think so. I've been also long enough around to know that how good your design might be for future modifications, by then you want to take advantage of the newest technologies and still have to redesign your application. From my POV it makes no sense to to make consessions for future modifications if the future is unknown. How could we prepare a FPW 2.6 for VFP 3.0 ? We couldn't ! Today lot's of FPD/FPW applications are redesigned for working with VFP. Thinking that we might do better for the near future is humbug from my POV.
