Slow pringint - memory useage?

I have a client who is complaining of extremly slow printing, to a local printer (the system is in VFP 6 w/SP3, printer is EPSON STYLUS COLOR 800).

The data is on a network server.

I'd thought previously that he was doing print previews, and I'd suspected that was part of his problem, but now I find out that he is not....

The slow printing does not seem to be a problem in any other application, and it seems to improve w/rebooting.

I'm going to check the printer driver and his amount of ram today (as suggested in a previous thread), but as I was looking at my code and trying to see what happens I was trying to look at memory useage.

1- is SYS(1016) the right thing to give an indication of growing memory useage?
2- if so, memory used seems to be growing larger and larger as the system prints reports (creating temp cursors, USEing them when done, etc.) - what could be causing this?
3- would memory useage affect print speed, and not anything else that is noticeable?

I'm checking my code now, but thought I'd ask for any input on things I should particularly be looking for.

TIA...J
