>I don't write applications for pizzeria.
>Also, you know better enough that I have never used SET FILTER, so why do you mention it in your reply? If you didn't way to say anything in particular then why you do it?

Ed,

First, my statement about not wanting to say anything in particular was in direct response to your putting words in my mouth, "So you want to say that you never use SEEK against base tables?"

My mention of SET FILTER is that it is the xBase equivalent of limiting a record set, SEEK has nothing to do with limiting the visible records in a set.

Thirdly, the reference to the pizzeria is a reference to the simple and unagruable fact that all of idustry and business is moving to the web. This is an undeniable trend in even the most unexpected businesses (thus a reference to a pizzeria).

To design and implement solutions that PRECLUDE the use of the web today verges on malpractice. We are supposed to be professionals and as such we are supposed to know what is going on in our industry and advise and assist our clients in meeting that changing field.
