The client wants the reports in any case. So I put in X hours to create the reports. With no additional time on my part they get on-screen preview. The client is happy with the result. Why should they pay me for another X hours (approximately) and add many kilobytes to the application to display the same information on a form?
BTW, I assume you are talking about the use of grids since the client certainly wants to see more than one record at a time.
