I was pretty cool about the idea that nothing catastrophic would happen, but I stopped at Kroger on the way home Dec.30th, about 11 pm, to pick up some juice and a couple of cases of bottled water (we use those anyway) -- just being prudent, you know? The tuna shelf was completely cleaned out and there were long lines at the checkout.

My daughter told me on New Year's day that she was OK with the impending Y2K event UNTIL she saw the 2 cases of water!
