Where is the "unofficial" statement. Typically, if you are attempting to make a point, you would reference an "official" statement.

As for your own message board, if you get a good deal of MVP traffic, which is key, MS will monitor your site.

There is contradicting info, but it is in a private news group area to which you do not have access. The FoxForum is monitored by MS.

You do realize that the body of your posts states that the UT is an "unofficial" MVP site.. The banner would indicate otherwise..

As for the VB MVP's, that whole arena is locked up by the DevX site, which is non-MS. There is not enough traffic on the VB universal thread. So, while it could be an MVP site, nobody goes there. A moot point....

Your a good guy Mike, but in the future, you may wan't to better construct your arguments.

>>Nope... any online community qualifies.

>MS gave an unofficial statement that the MVP program is hosted on the News Groups, the UT, and 2 or 3 other unofficials. Can you point to any contradicting information? I cannot put up my own messageboard, and have its users recieve any credit at my website for MVP, unless sanctioned by MS.

>Ever noticed there are VB MVPs, but all MVP information at the UT relates only to the Fox forum? Thats because only the Fox forum has been approved by MS.
