Does Microsoft have any of its development tools available on
a Unix/Linux platform?

I am totally ignorant in this area so I am seeking any info.

I am also interested in non-MS tools. The work may be with
the intranet (I am currently using ASP, SQL Server 7.0,
JavaScript, and VBScript, and Visual Interdev) so I know JAVA
is a potential candidate; however, I wanted to know what other
tools (database and web tools) are available on the Linux
platform.
