I really don't know what is the philosophy of Crystal, but you could check one thing: try do close the table, and delete the file, before create it (if exist already, or course: use INDBC(...) to see if it belongs to your database of FILE(...) to see if exists). You should get an error, here, if Crystal doesn't release the files.
Try this, and say something. We'll try another thing if get no success.
