You still may have a similar kind of problem. The form is trying to go away on it's own, and for some reason, it can't close itself. Now the reason it's trying to close may be the source of your problem.
How are you starting up this form? Is it an .SCX or a class? Maybe the variable that's holding the forms reference has gone out of scope. Just for grins, try making the form Modal, so it doesn't fall through and execute the code immediately after where you've started it.
