Have had this problem on a site in Onehunga. Unfortunately my programming computer is down at the moment so I can't give you the exact syntax, but it went something like this:
We created a file (let's call it dmt.txt) with a blank character in it (like chr(255)) we then issued a run command (after the print job is finished) to send that character to the printer using RUN TYPE dmt.txt > LPT1. If this doesn't work, let me know and I will try to find the code. It is a little hard because I am in Australia at the moment. By the way this is not confined to NT.
