>>Look at the property sheet for wscript.exe in your Windows directory. If it's version 2.0, the version number that shows is 5.0.531.7 (and people make fun 'cause there's no VFP 4.0< g >).

>Ok. FYI ( and any others ), wscript.exe is in Winnt\System32 on WinNT4.0 machines. Version on my machine is 5.0.531.7, so it's 2.0 ( 5.0.531.7 = 2.0? ... bad math ).
That's what I meant by the VFP 4.0 comment< bg >.
>Found WSH.CHM and SHELLCC.CHM and am perusing them ... BTW, how in the world do you all find all these files? It's enough for me to just start up the MSDN library.
Don't forget VBSCRIP5.CHM. I think I found them by hunting around. I think I did a search of the CHM files, but may have done on on SHELL*.CHM and WSH.CHM. Can't remember how I found the VBScript thing though. Of course, it may have been that Ed Rauh pointed them out to me. How he know? Sometimes I think he knows
everything.:-)
