Absolutely... Is there a way to get the data from a vfp table to a format that one of the packages, that you mentioned, can import?

I think, I can justify the expense of a statistical package, due to the time needed to develop one. However...

To analyze data that is all ready collected electronically, I do not want to re-enter the information. Maybe some simple queries against the data??? export a text file???

What would be really cool would be an activex control that did this stuff, that I could drop on a form, let's say. (Idea...)

I don't know a lot about this and appreciate your help.
