>I'm constantly amazed at amount of stuff that I listened to growing up, really enjoyed, never really thought much about it, but do dearly miss it now. Dr. Demento was a great example - I never really planned to listen to the broadcast, but did as often as I could. And I'd like to have the recordings off the air that never really registered as far as an artist, but when I hear it now instantly reminds me - "Hey - this is really funny!"
It's good that you sitll enjoy them. One of the fond memories of TV entertainment from my shildhood was The Dukes of Hazard. They were fond memories through my teen years and up until a couple of years ago when TNT started playing reruns, and I realized just how stupid that show is. I wish I would have never seen the reruns.
