This is getting kind of funny and ridiculous at the same time.
Borland sues MS for stealing staff. (I think this is somewhat justified, although I expect many of the now MS staff will burn out and go back to Borland or someone else.)
DEC has made history by being computer geniuses and business idiots. They can build a better mousetrap, but they are so afraid of being copied, no one can harness the power of their products. Now their worst nightmare has come true. And what do they have to show for it?? Look for a quick, out-of-court settlement for mucho bucks, Intel's got it and DEC wants it.
As for Cyrix, the copy-cat artist, they'll probably get paid off too. Capitalism at it's best ladies and gentlemen.
Just my opinion..
