John,

I was hoping you'd reply. Your insights on this will definately help.

I believe there will only be one other presenter, an MS employee from the local office (not a marketing guy). He's going to do kind of a glossary of MS development tools. I know about the lack of VFP and down right false statements about VFP that some MS presenters have given and didn't want that to happen here.

He told me that I had to end up with a COM component since he's focusing on integration. I thought about pulling some data via ADO and then convert it to XML. VFP should be faster at this than VB.

MTS is a nice idea.

Thanks for the samples. I'll shoot you a private email later today.

>Microsoft is doing a presentation here in SLC in June called "Microsoft Development Tools A-Z." I will be doing the presentation on VFP and will have about 10-15 minutes. My only requirement is that I end up with a COM object at the end of the presentation. That'll take about two minutes. Any ideas on what I can do to fill the rest of the time?
