Hey Craig,

>You guys (TN to GA--y'all) are getting over my head. An OCX that does this is exactly what I need. I like properties and methods.
Bela's the guru here, not me. He's put out some terrific stuff here. I'm looking for him to "carry the ball" on this. Writing ActiveX controls in VC++ isn't my forte.
>Spent a lot of time on MSDN over the weekend (how 'bout them Titans--sooo close) and I think OleCreatePictureIndirect is the way to do it. At least it appears to be the newest way. I think there are other ways of skinning this cat which include writing the hIcon to a file. OleCreatePictureIndirect appears easier to me.
Terrific game, and yes, I was rooting for the Titans. However, being a midwesterner by birth, I wasn't really distraught by the Rams win (I'm a Bears fan).
OleCreatePictureIndirect() is the way to go. Unfortunately, I haven't looked at this closely enough yet to know where to start. It would be best for the implementation to be in VC++, however, rather than relying on various machinations of the API/VFP to get where you need to go.
>Here's some links to sample articles that explain it. The second one is long, so just do a find on "OleCreatePictureIndirect". Both articles have sample code downloads. Unfortunately for me, they both are in VB.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/periodic/period98/cutting0898.htmThanks for the links. I'll try to take a look later today.
>No doubt this will all get figured out in time.
If it does, it'll be Bela who does it, I think (I may take a swipe at it, however< g >).
