no you're not annoying.
thisform.myvariable is not a variable. the fact that you use THISFORM tells foxpro that it is a property of the form. so, you need to create a property on your form called myvariable or what ever you like. to create a property for your form:
1) bring up your form and select FORM from the foxpro menu
2) then select NEW PROPERTY
3) on the NEW PROPERTY dialog screen enter the NAME of the property you want
and press ok.

whatever you named your property make sure you use it in you combos. EXAMPLE: if you named your property ID_PK, it would be refered to as THISFORM.ID_PK.

simple isn't it?
Work as if you don't need money
Love as if you've never been hurt before
Live as if this is your last day to live
Dance as if no one's watching
